Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous television series. She is an American actor from Afghanistan from Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her country of birth her family, they moved to the US. She was granted asylum and allowed to stay. Ghanizada was brought up in Northern Virginia and is the second child in a family with two older sisters. Ghanizada got her start on the television scene by appearing in a couple of National Commercials. Ghanizada's appearance on the Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara was nominated for Best Actress at a festival. In 2008 Ghanizada was added to the cast of The General Hospital prime-time spin-off General Hospital. Season 2 of General Hospital, Night Shift, Ghanizada appeared as Dr. Saira Bhatra who is a holistic doctor. Ghanizada played Kelly as the Prada girl in HBO's Entourage. She also joined in the cast of the upcoming TV pilot Tough Trade created by Weeds creator Jenji Kuhan, as well as executive producers T Bone Burnett.
